Where is graphic design...

CoCa-Cola Designs. I really like these bottle designs, i don't know whether they were ever actually made but i would have loved to see them if they were. Its amazing how a splash of colour and a different style can completely rebrand a who design. although i love this design it is no where near as versatile as the coke design right now, the design now is generic and well established around the world everyone knows and recognises it.

Hugo Boss. A lot of fashion marketers use graphic designers to publisise their wares. I realy love the hugo boss for men adverts they are all really creative and non of them are the same. I like the patterns and styles each one has my favorite being the last one with the city scape inside the bottle. They never go too over the top with colour but their designs are intricate and detailed which when compared to Ed Hardy's designs is a big difference.

Ed Hardy. I think that the designs created by ed hardy are fantastic. Again the bright colours and the seemingly complicated designs make the clothes irresistible to me. The one thing that is in the way is the Atlantic ocean and a huge price tag, otherwise i would be constantly kitted out in their latest clothes. I have always been a big fan of tattoo work and i love the idea of wearing a tattoo that isn't permanent but still sticks out and looks unmistakably like a tattoo. This graphic design is so easily transfered from skin to jacket or from jacket to skin, i love this work.

Personally I love Harvey Nichols, not because of the overpriced, pretentious clothes/handbags/jewelry they sell but because every now and then they get in some genious designed items. For examples this Christmas i was looking for Christmas presents for my mum and dad and went up to the food court to stumble across some amazing wine/champagne bottles designed by Christian Audiger (who i am a huge fan of due to my love for ed hardy!). Unfortunately the over priced bottles were out of my budget but i still loved them and returned a couple of times to just look at the designs. what i love about Audigers work is the flamboyance and bright use of colour. the patterns are erratic to say the least but the designs seem so intricate and intriguing but i mostly based around thick and thin drawing with the use of block colouring. I love this work and i think to any person, not just an artist, this work is engaging and simple for them to look at and therefore very enjoyable.
